BSPlayer doesn't have a function to play the files directly from the Internet. But if you have a browser like Firefox, you can configure it that each time you download a movie or a video in AVI, MPEG, MP4, etc., format to open it directly with BsPlayer.
Another way is to make the BsPlayer as the default media player. To do this, go to Start and type in the search bar "file associations" then launch the configuration window and assign BsPlayer for MP4, AVi, FLV, etc, and each time you double click a media file, it will open with BsPlayer.
Google Chrome and other Chromium-based browsers: type chrome://extensions in the address bar. Press the thrash can icon next to the BSPlayer toolbar. Firefox: press Shift+Ctrl+A (or open Tools → Add-ons). Press Disable next to BSPlayer toolbar. If you can't find the toolbar in the Extensions tab, switch to the Plugins tab and look there. Opera 12.x and older: press Ctrl+Shift+E (or press the Opera button → Extensions → Manage extensions) to open the Extensions menu. Press Uninstall next to the BSPlayer toolbar. Internet Explorer: open Tools → Manage Add-ons. Select the BSPlayer toolbar and press Disable.
This could indicate that there is a codec problem. Access My Computer and go to the BSplayer folder: C:\Program Files\Webtech\BsPlayer Free (Pro). Start Codec manager and download all the codecs then play the file again. It's also possible that you don't have sound drivers installed normally. Access Device Manager and make sure that everything is installed.
